A romantic pick-up line to use on a bookish girl.
"Will you be my Elizabeth Bennett?"Simple. Clean. And utterly dorky. Use it on the wrong type, though, and you'll find yourself with an odd look and not a sly smile.

I would totally give that person my number. In a heartbeat.
To which I'd have to reply, "It all depends on whether you are my Mr. Collins or my Mr. Darcy." And in that case, you'd have to have read the book to know the answer. Or I guess have seen the movie...slightly less romantic but still passably romantic. :-)
Okay, Adam, you're young, so that works. For the post-thirty set you may wish to suggest "Will you be my Anne Elliot?" Just an idea. I wholeheartedly agree with your theory though.
